National Safety Month – Did You Know We Offer Safety Products?
June is here to celebrate National Safety Month.
In the construction industry, safety is paramount. Not only do we at WRG uphold stringent health and safety standards, but we also offer a range of life-safety products suitable for warehouses, factories and more. These are critical to protect people and products.
Safety products in warehouses
In warehouses and factories, height, storage, access and dangerous machinery are concerns for employers, employees and workforces who spend significant time in these environments.
As it is National Safety Month, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase how our products can help protect employees and products from harm.
Alongside our core steel partitioning offering, we offer bespoke solutions for the following products:
Anti-collapse Mesh Screens
Anti-collapse Mesh Screens help prevent products from falling and causing harm. This versatile cladding system is ideal for use in areas where pallet racking faces onto pedestrian aisles or between racking flues.
The system consists of framed mesh panels prepunched and mounted onto the rear of pallet racking by use of brackets. The brackets are designed to be rotated either way in order to avoid the main racking beams and to allow the mesh to stand clear of the pallet overhangs.

Pedestrian Barrier Systems
Pedestrian barrier systems are designed to create safe pedestrian areas while maintaining an open plan aspect.
The system is simply bolted to the floor which means that it is quick and easy to install and also demountable.
This system is available with single-swing or double-swing access gates.
Also, the design can have sections infilled with mesh or steel, can include an integral kickboard and if additional robustness is required, light and heavy-duty options are available.

Mezzguard Protective Mesh Barrier System
WRG’s Mezzguard is an integrated barrier system designed to be used around mezzanine floors.
The system incorporates a double or single side impact bar which is designed to withstand an impact side load of 0.74KN/m for industrial use in accordance with BS6399. The system is quick and easy to construct, therefore reducing installation time and costs.
Similar to our other systems, the system is simply bolted to the mezzanine floor or edge beam which means that it is robust and durable but has the added benefit of being demountable for re-location when storage systems change.

Barrier Rails
WRG Barrier Rails are designed to protect racking, shelving, partitioning and mezzanine columns in warehouses from damage caused by forklift and pallet trucks.
The system can be upgraded to medium or heavy duty by using double barrier rails, and can be supplied powder coated in a wide range of colours or galvanised for a more durable finish.

Machine Guarding
High visibility machine guarding helps to protect operators and other employees from hazards created from a machine in operation.
We offer adaptable and bespoke machine guarding systems designed for a wide range of applications.
The system is quick & easy to construct and has a comprehensive range of single and double doors available.
The panels are raised 120mm above floor level to facilitate ease of cleaning, and for increased safety and security, the system is also available in 25x25mm mesh.
